Four farm dams include three stocked trout waters for fly fishing and one mixed dam. Rainbow trout are the main species. Brown trout are also reported on the property. A river feeds the dams. The shop sells flies and can hire tackle. Fishing rules apply on each dam.

Staying at The Kingfisher Country Cottages and Trout Lodge
The lodge is in the Highlands Meander trout triangle about two and a half hours from Johannesburg or Pretoria. Ten self-catering stone cottages sleep up to about 35 guests. Fifteen campsites have private ablutions, electricity, and braai areas. Converted stable rooms and a main lodge with restaurant and bar are also on site. A swimming pool, hiking trails, horse riding, bird watching, and a walk to a 100 m waterfall are available. The venue is pet friendly by prior arrangement. A seven kilometre gravel access road leads in from the R36. Self-catering chalets start from about R1 050 per night for two guests. Visvangverblyf lists a R550 to R1 100 range across unit types.
