Mountain Rest is a four-sleeper off-grid cottage on a working cattle farm. Four single beds sit in one open-plan room with a kitchen area, gas stove, gas fridge, and basic crockery. A separate bathroom has a shower with gas hot water. Solar lights run at night and there is no cellphone signal on the farm. A fireplace warms the room on cold nights. Step outside to a patio with a built-in braai and views over the dam and the mountain behind it. Guests can hike, mountain bike, swim, and fish on the farm.
