The farm has six dams fed by springs and a stream. Five dams are stocked with rainbow trout. Norman Dam is the bass water and suits float-tube fishing. Fly fishing is the main trout method. All fishing is catch and release. Fishing is for staying guests. Bring your own tackle. Confirm dam access with the venue before you book.
Kinloch Lodge sits on rolling highveld about 12 km from Dullstroom town, en route to Highland Gate Golf Estate. Four self-catering cottages (Inverness, Strathmore, Skye, and Dunbar) sleep up to 18 guests in total. Units have fireplaces, fully equipped kitchens, Weber braai patios, and dam or garden views. Linen and towels are provided. The property has open lawns, a bird hide on one dam, farm animals, and a koi pond near Inverness. Access is by 4x4 or high-clearance vehicle. Pets may be allowed by prior arrangement. Check-in is from 15:00 and check-out by 10:00. Cottages start from about R2 332 per night for two guests on third-party booking sites.
