Staying at Fortuna Resort
Fortuna is a private resort off the R23 near Balfour. The camping area has about 75 stands for caravans or tents, with electricity on each stand and 24 waterfront sites on the river bank. Two ablution blocks serve the camp. Self-catering chalets sleep four to eight guests. Families can use putt-putt, playgrounds, trampolines, cold outdoor pools, and covered pools including a heated pool. A café sells takeaways, wood, and tackle.
