Aqua Paradiso is a members only syndicate dam in Primrose, Germiston. You fish numbered swims for carp and bass, and you can sleep in a wooden hut on the bank.
The dam is about 800 m long and 150 m wide. Depths run from 1 m to about 28 m. There are snags, gravel and sunken trees. Mirror carp, common carp and largemouth bass live here. Koi also swim in this water. This is a catch and release syndicate. You fish from numbered swims. Specimen carp fishing is the main method. Bass members may use a boat with a trolling motor. Petrol motors are not allowed. Confirm the fishing rules with the venue.
Aqua Paradiso sits at 72a Rietfontein Road in Primrose, Germiston. The dam is inside a walled site with access control. You need a booking to get through the gate. Nine numbered swims have wooden huts. Each hut has two beds with sheets. Bring your own bedding and pillow. Flush toilets and a hot shower are on site. Kids may visit. Some swims are bivvy swims. This is a members only syndicate. Carp membership is about R3500 a year. Members then pay about R150 on a weekday or R200 on a weekend, per day or night. A day visitor is about R100.
