The resort has about one kilometre of Vaaldam shoreline. Each stand or cabin comes with a private 20-metre waterfront for bank angling. The dam holds carp, barbel, and yellowfish. Papgooi and specimen carp fishing both work here. Club competitions can be booked on dedicated stands. Confirm the rules with the venue before you fish.
Fourteen waterfront camping stands have no electricity. Twelve off-grid cabins sleep two or four guests with solar lights, gas stove, and gas fridge. Die Oewerhuis is a larger self-catering house for groups up to eight. Shared ablutions have hot showers. A small kiosk sells ice, wood, dips, and basics. Small dogs are allowed. Day visitors can book a stand from 06:00 to 17:00. Camping check-in and check-out is 08:00. Cabin check-in is 10:00 and check-out is 08:00. Bring your own bedding, braai gear, and fishing equipment.
