Anglers fish the Nyl River from camp or try the bass dam on Moorddrift Farm when water levels allow. Barbel, bass, and carp are the common catches. Bring your own tackle and confirm river access before you visit.
The camp has 20 caravan and camping stands with electricity on the Nyl River bank. Each stand has a braai, taps, and dustbins. Two new ablution blocks serve ladies and gents, with showers, toilets, a scullery, laundry area, and porta-potty discharge. The bush lapa sleeps up to 20 guests for groups and functions. Birding, hiking, mountain biking, canoeing, and horse riding are also available on the farm. The venue is malaria free and about two hours from Gauteng.
