Six private fly fishing dams and the lower Blaauwbank Spruit run through the lodge grounds below the Zwartkops range. Trout, bass, and carp give challenging bank fishing with space for each angler. Fly fishing is the main method here. Day fishing and team-building packages are offered. Confirm rod rules, permits, and dam access with the venue before you visit.
The lodge has about sixty suites from deluxe and superior units to family and royal suites. Many rooms look over the dams and gorge. Thatched roofs, fireplaces, and private decks are common. On-site restaurants, a spa, conference rooms, and wedding venues sit around the water. Hot air balloon flights, hiking trails, a gym, and guided game drives on sister properties are available. Check-in is from 14:00 and check-out by 10:00. Hiking on the property is about R60 per person. Room rates vary by suite type and date through the lodge booking engine.
