The farm sits on Mearns Dam in the Natal Midlands, about 7 km from Mooi River. Three self-catering cottages sleep four to five guests each. Rooster, Saddlers, and Railway each have a kitchen, lounge, and braai area. Some units have underfloor heating and DStv. Camping is also available near the dam with a new ablution block and kitchen area. Boat launches sit in front of the dam cottages and near the camping area. These are among the few public launches on Mearns Dam. Farm walks, bird watching, and dairy viewing are on site. Wi-Fi is available.
