Rotsdrif is a Vaal River campsite and fishing spot at Vaaloewer near Vanderbijlpark. Eight riverfront stands sit a few metres from the water. Chalets, tent homes, and caravan sites are also on site.
The Vaal River here holds carp, barbel, mudfish, and yellowfish. Eight riverfront stands each have about 10 m of bank with a cement braai, table, power, and water. Papgooi works well from the open banks. Confirm the rules with the venue before you fish.
Rotsdrif has eight riverfront camping or fishing stands, seven lawn camping stands, two furnished tent homes, three permanent caravans, and three self-catering chalets 30 to 60 m from the river. Two ablution blocks are cleaned daily. A swimming pool and jungle gym are on site. Day visitors are welcome. The property is pet friendly and fully fenced with controlled access. Riverfront stands allow up to four guests and one car each. Lawn stands suit campers who want grass under the trees. Chalets and tent homes are fully equipped for self-catering stays. Kids can ride bicycles on the open lawns.
