Kolobe River Lodge is a bushveld getaway on a 236 hectare game farm about 30 km from Lephalale on the Groblersbrug road. Five ensuite rooms sleep up to 15 guests beside the Mokolo River.
The lodge has about 3.2 km of Mokolo River frontage for bank fishing. Carp, kurper, barbel, and bass are caught here regularly. Yellowfish and kurper are also in the river. Papgooi works from the open sand banks. Hippos and crocodiles use this stretch, so stay alert near the water. Confirm fishing rules and access with the venue before you visit.
Kolobe River Lodge has five ensuite rooms that share a central fully equipped kitchen and dining area. Thatched buildings sit on a green lawn under tall trees with views toward the Mokolo River. Game such as nyala, kudu, bushbuck, and waterbuck roam the farm. Some farm tracks need a 4x4. The lodge suits groups and families who want a quiet bush break with river fishing. Room rates are not published on the venue's current web presence. Confirm accommodation prices and availability with the venue before you book. Last updated at: 10 September 2026.
