Impofu Dam lies between Humansdorp and Oyster Bay on the Kromme River. The N2 and R102 cross the western part of the reservoir. The Elandsjagt water treatment works sits below the dam wall. The shoreline is mostly bushveld hills and farm roads. There is no formal campsite on the dam itself. Most anglers visit for a day trip from Humansdorp, Jeffreys Bay, or Gqeberha. A two-bedroom rondavel near the entrance has sometimes been available through local bass clubs. Confirm what is open before you travel. Day fishing fees are not published on the municipal website.
