Apache Resort sits on the south bank of Koster Dam near Koster. You camp on an open bank or stay in a thatched rondavel, with a pool and a play area on the grass.
You fish Koster Dam from an open bank. Bass, carp, barbel, yellowfish and kurper live in this water. The camp sits closer to the river inlet than the other resorts on the dam. You may launch a small boat. Bring your own rods and bait. Confirm the fishing rules with the venue.
Apache Resort is on Groenfontein farm on the south side of Koster Dam, near Koster in North West. Drive the dam road past Koster Dam Nature Resort and keep going toward the river. This is a different venue from Koster Dam Nature Resort and from Waterkloof Hengeloord. The farm gate reads Groenfontein. You can stay the day or overnight. Camp on the bank or book a thatched rondavel. There is a swimming pool, a kids play area and a large lapa. Trees shade the lawns and the bank. On a high water visit the fishable bank was about 200 m.
